Equipment Needed

WHAT QUARTERBACKS SHOULD BRING

  • FOOTBALL ... YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN FOOTBALL
  • Football (marked clearly with Quarterback’s name or name of school) you will use this coming season.
  • Note that 7th and 8th grade use a smaller ball. Example: Wilson GST (Junior TDJ) or MacGregor MXY (Youth Size).
  • Football shoes (do not bring new shoes or baseball shoes).
  • Athletic shoes with non-marking soles for indoor use (in case of rain).
  • T-Shirts, gym shorts, athletic socks, supporters, mouth piece.
  • Mouthpieces are always recommended and encouraged.
  • Extra set of practice clothes is recommended for afternoon workout.
  • Gym bag, sunscreen, lip balm, small practice towel, notebook and pen.
  • This is a NON-CONTACT CAMP, so football pads will not be needed.
  • Preferred energy bars, snacks, plenty of electrolyte drinks and a LUNCH.
  • Bring plenty of water bottles for meals and during practice.
  • NOTE: Quarterbacks will not have time to leave for lunch. Arrangements should be made with their parents to have LUNCH ready to eat at the beginning of the second indoor session each day.
  • Please DO NOT bring food items that require refrigeration … NO refrigeration is available for food storage.
  • Coolers with ice would be a good idea (no ice is available).
  • Remember to LABEL ALL ITEMS brought to Camp.

  • RAIN

  • Camp is usually at the assigned location … even in rain. Bring athletic shoes with non-marking soles for indoor use.

  • TO THE PARENTS

  • Bring your lawn chairs, canopies, ice chests.
  • Bring your video camcorders … enjoy video taping the sessions.
  • It’s common for the field to be lined with lawn chairs and video cameras … observing field-time.
  • Attend the lectures.
  • We encourage family support.

Instruction from One Voice Information on the camp
"Coach Aguilar taught me the value of work ethic and the determination to succeed. He took a real interest in developing me as both a Quarterback and a leader. I still take that hard work ethic and determination with me."

Sam Garza, Pro Scout - Dallas Cowboys
